On February 18, 2026, within the framework of the “Rebuilding in Action 4.0” practical forum (KyivBuild Ukraine 2026), Olga Sydorchuk, Partner at Altelaw & Sempra and Head of the CBU Committee on Legislative and Regulatory Activity, moderated the panel discussion “Updating Current Building Norms.”
The discussion focused on the factors that directly dictate the “rules of the game” for designers, developers, contractors, and communities in 2026: how State Building Norms (DBN) and standards are being updated, what requirements are being embedded into projects, and where the biggest practical questions arise regarding the application of these regulations.
