Legal Hub for Energy: a new initiative of the UN Global Compact in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Energy Initiative of the UN Global Compact in Ukraine held an event this week. The event summarized the work results in 2024 and discussed plans for 2025.

The key moment was the announcement of the creation of the Legal Hub, a special initiative to support business and enhance the regulatory environment. The Legal Hub will inform the participants of the energy initiative about changes in legislation and advocate for the necessary changes.

Integrites, Arzinger, and Altelaw have signed a memorandum of understanding to join the Legal Hub.

Olga Savchenko, Senior Partner at Altelaw, made a speech at the event, where she shared the latest changes in energy regulation, in particular, the Law of Ukraine No. 4213-IX. This law introduces substantial changes to the procedures for connecting to power grids, which are important for business and generation development. Olga also communicated with the participants and answered their questions.

Thank you for the important event organized by the UN Global Compact in Ukraine.
